Endowment Fund

Over the years, a number of members at First Presbyterian have given gifts to our Endowment Fund. These gifts have been prayerfully and carefully invested by our Endowment Board. This Board is elected by the congregation and oversees the Fund.

The Board invests the Fund’s assets and monitors its performance regularly. At the present time, we have over $800,000 in the Fund. The principal is never touched and the income is used for missions, maintenance, capital purposes, camping scholarships or as the donor has specifically designated.

Some of the ways members can support the Endowment Fund are the following:

• Cash
• Real Estate
• Personal Property
• Life Insurance
• Stocks and Bonds

Our Endowment Board can assist members in selecting a type of gift which works best for them. Our goal is to see that all of our members have the opportunity in their estate planning to further the mission and outreach of First Presbyterian. The result will be to assure that the Gospel of Christ will be proclaimed both here and abroad for many years to come.
