Prayer Partners

Prayer Partners are a team of people who commit to pray for First Pres, its ministries, its staff and submitted prayer requests. Each Sunday morning two teams of 3-5 people pray during the entire worship services, one team at 9:00 and one at 10:30 am. Teams are rotated so that each Prayer Partner prays during only one worship service each month. A prayer guide for each Sunday suggests specific things to pray for. In addition, during each worship service, people in the audience may submit prayer requests which are confidentially prayed for during that worship service.

Also during each worship service, a Prayer Partner steps forward from the audience and prays for the preacher immediately before the sermon is preached. A monthly prayer calendar mailed to Prayer Partners suggests a specific prayer request for each day of the month. Prayer Partners commit to this ministry for 12 months at a time.
