Senior Adult
Ministry
The Senior Adult Ministries of The First Presbyterian
Church seeks to meet the needs of a wide variety of seniors
from the very active to “challenged” to the
homebound. We define Senior Adults as anyone who is sixty
years or older.
For
the homebound, including those in nursing homes, we provide
calling, comfort, prayer, and the sacraments on a regular
basis. We have regular gatherings at Quail Park retirement
facility where a good number of our seniors live.
We define “challenged” Seniors as those who
could use some assistance in their daily lives such as repairs,
transportation, physical disabilities, etc. We meet these
needs through the ministry of our Board of Deacons, and
through the network established among our seniors.
All seniors are invited to the "Primetimer's" monthly luncheon which is on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (except the summer months) at 11:30am in Geneva Hall,
featuring fellowship, devotional and a program of interest.
Friendships enriched in all these ways means that as a “relationship-centered”
church, we want all our seniors to feel included, welcomed
and invited to use their gifts to make real contributions
as they get older.

Ministry, please call the church office at (559) 732-8627.
