First
Pres is led by a community of over 80 leaders who each play
distinctive roles within our larger church Body. All our
leaders come together several times a year (including a
weekend retreat every spring) to prayerfully seek our Lord’s
vision for all of us as a church family.
While we have an excellent ministry staff, we do not expect
our staff to do our work of leadership for us. Rather, they
are to “equip the saints for the work of ministry”
(Eph. 4:12). At First Pres, we are serious about giving
responsibility to lay leaders!
